Feature request: Health patches


Ok, so hello. First post on here. The screenshot says it all but i will try to explain it more here.

So what is this? This is a medical patch / adrenaline shot / morphine shot. It stops bleeding, and can be used when running to quickly heal a small amount of health. This can be useful in situations where combatants are running from enemies and need to get rid of bleeding quickly so their health isnt speedily depleting on the go.

How will we balance this?
Field bandages will be buffed to give more health (since it takes longer to apply). Abusing the patch will also not be recommended, as taking 4 or 5+ in a short period will result in increased damage to the user, red pulse around vision, periods of slowness.

Who will it be available too?
All MTF, CSU, SRU, and (possibly, still deliberating) MD and SD in their shop. CDs will be able to obtain it from smuggler for a slightly higher price.

While ok, I don’t see the debuff getting triggered pretty much at all.

Assuming the debuff kicks off if you use it 5 times within like 20 seconds. By the time you’d want to use your 3rd one in that time frame you’re likely already dead (and should be. If you get hit that much you deserve to die in that situation).
And if you have the time frame much longer, then it’s likely not going to be bought that much due to the risk.

The ability to use it while moving could just be given to field bandage to be honest.

Another thing, this feature could probably be integrated into the love tap which is getting reworked into a stim gun at some point. Though with some small changes.

This is such a cool idea, as a CD I think that they need to give more things for SD to use in combat as it’s unfair when they have no CSU.
