Add new Healing items and the ability to contract viruses in Pathos III.
Add viruses you can catch around the facility by entering certain areas such as the caves and going very close to crystals.
Upon contracting a virus you will start to cough and have a stink cloud in-front of you. Over time you will cough and take a very small amount of damage and heal from it.
This will add more detail to role-play so MD can have more purpose.
Healing Items:
-
Medical Pen
SD will be given this Medical Pen thingy to heal them and give a slight speed boost in combat since they clearly need it, it’s not really that Class-D’s are overpowered, it’s that SD just don’t have enough skill, so maybe MD/WPO could go to omicron and refill a medical station there with healing pens? -
Skin Spray
SD will be given skin spray to stop bleeding and heal a lot of health if they receive injuries, this encourages Class-D to win the fight instead of just respawning and going back to the guard line, especially in small servers or at dead hours people will abuse this and shoot SD and if they lose return and take advantage that they have low health, this could would be good to prevent people from just continuously abusing their spawn.
Limited Medical Tools:
All healing items will now have a limit on them!
Examples of this would be.
You have 50/50 rolls of splint when you spawn, after you use the splint you lose a bit of the roll and might need to refill it somewhere.
Combat Medics on the Foundation side will receive less stock of healing items to compensate for them being given Medical Pens and Skin Sprays, of course realistically Class-D’s would still be able to receive a healing item somehow.
Longer Downed Time:
Add a longer downed timer so you have more time to be revived, this gives a better purpose for the Emergency Medical Services when they are added.
Having longer downed times will not increase how long it takes to respawn just instead being able to stay downed for longer.
Injury Punishment:
Having injuries will make you take extra damage, and become slower when you are under the required hunger limit to run. Making people want to be healed even more.
Field Bandage Nerf:
Field Bandages are to stop bleeding not heal your HP to full! It makes no sense that they give such profound amounts of health. While a game doesn’t need to be realistic having Field Bandages heal yourself completely removes the need for healing tools overall! It’s essentially healing yourself with medical tools but takes a little longer. At the very least lower the amount of health it gives and create a threshold at which you cannot gain anymore health.
Compensation
To compensate with the changes the following things will occur:
-
Anyone that spawns with a weapon or obtains one will receive a Field Bandage upon spawn or upon picking up a weapon. Or at the very least let Class-D Medics choose to spawn with Medical Tools or just Field Bandages.
-
Healing Items will spawn around the map such as on tables in PHI and around the cellblock. Maybe even keycards could spawn for Class-D’s and they can be confiscated for a reward.
Reasoning
The reasons why this should be added area:
-
Combatives have no way to heal unless CSU or F-2 are online.
-
Security clearly need some sort of healing item so they don’t stay at low health for ages healing items are the best idea to fix this, they shouldn’t need to spam the Field Bandage all the time to regain health and it removes the purpose of needing a doctor drastically.
-
New healing items make the game more easier to play for combatives instead of needing to constantly spend time to regenerate their health with Field Bandages.
-
It makes the Class-D experience more enjoyable, needing to purchase Class-D Medic to not bleed to death is insane! You cannot expect people to carry around clunky Medical Tools that take ages to get used to and clutter your inventory to the brink.
-
It creates a more dynamic and mindful experience for all. Forcing people to purchase Class-D Medic to quite literally not bleed to death is absolutely ridiculous and forces the purchase right in front of everyone face, at that point make a game-pass to play as the Class-D team. It’s the exact reason why I tell people to not purchase a gun game-pass or they’ll have to bleed to death. I mean why let people purchase guns in the Class-D vendor if they can just bleed to death any lose it so easily if they get punched a little too much by a Class-D, or get caught in crossfire. While it makes sense to have bleeding for fun, if it completely changes combat so Combatives always win against the Class-D with no Medic game-pass cause they bleed out, it’s a little bit ridiculous.
-
Unique game design. Such additions would make the game appear more unique and appealing to everyone, it’s not too bright and blingy and glassy, it’s just right, not everyone will understand what I said just there, it’s mean’t to be that way.
-
Exposure Therapy. Adding this will make people who are a little too demure talk to others and get to know people, and it will strengthen their people skills and ability to ask for help when needed. Making people ask for Medical Assistance in a game is a perfect way to tackle mental health upon a plethora of individuals.
-
Calm Balancing. Upon this being added to the game it will create a more moderate atmosphere for everyone to experience, creating a moderate atmosphere is great to ensure safety and civility. Subtle slight changes can drastically change the experience of a player to a more astronomical and divine level never comprehended before.
The End! Thanks for reading.
