It only takes 1 time to get LD in research wing or phi to know that they can/are abused heavily. This is my suggestions for a possible rework of the system to make it a more fun expierence for CD’s.
General Reworks:
I was going to add making logs to see who LD certain areas of the map so that people can get reported for breaking regs but I see you already added that so good job! There should be a new lockdown called a “breach lockdown” which is the exact same as the old security lockdown but can only be called during red heron. Remove fire doors being locked down during security lockdowns when locking down certain places like phi or CR. They shouldnt be closed due to the fact they are containment barriers and it is annoying due to the fact that every two steps I take forward I run into a firedoor. It traps CD’s in certain areas with no plausible way of fighting back or getting out. You also cannot hack the fire doors which just makes it ten times harder for CD.
Specific Reworks:
Make it that the security lockdowns are shorter or make the doors harder to hack. For the first suggestion you can make the lockdowns instead of ten minutes into 60-90 seconds. This is reasonable due to the fact instead of using the lockdowns as trial and error running into CR or Phi to kill them they can rally at the LD place to stop the CD’s. (Its doesnt have to be 60-90 seconds you can probably just due some testing to see the average response time for certain areas and double it or smth) You can also do the hacking door idea which would just make the doors harder to hack but not completely impossible to hack. This could mean the doors turning into a two letter hack into a five letter hack. (you can determine the balancing if so needed)
Conclusion: anyways these are my reworks. I think this is completely fair due to the fact that lockdowns are heavily abused and can easily shut down mass riots by typing a lockdown command into your tablet in five seconds. There shouldnt be a general consensus when doing rioting events that we cant simply enter CR because some guy is going to lock it down and we cant do anything. I hope this helps!
