My problem with the ballistic shield is that is it WAY to little, the riot shield covers more than the ballistic shield. It covers your torso and that’s it, it doesn’t cover really anything else alright maybe a little bit of the head but still. The only thing we SD have is the already place shields for cover, anything else doesn’t work. Here is my design and rework of the shield. It is attached below aswell as the current shield. (Please don’t judge im SHIT at blender). I get it that shield looks like it covers alot but it really doesn’t. I hate to break it to you but SD has slow reaction time and all the CD needs to do is get to your side which is really easy and shoot you. With this new and improved one I made it covers your sides a bit and your whole body. I see how this could be op but if it is too op then give it a equip time of like 2-5 seconds whatever you feel like, and if so then also give it a 2-5 unequip time. Images attached below.
